Mosaic UK is a geodemographic classification that paints a rich picture of UK consumers in terms of socio-demographics, lifestyles and behaviour, and provides a detailed understanding of UK society. It is an essential tool for any organisation that wishes to understand more about UK consumers, and develop successful marketing solutions that are tailored to the needs of the UK marketplace.

Mosaic UK classifies all UK consumers into 61 distinct lifestyle types and 11 groups which comprehensively describe their socio-economic and socio-cultural behaviour.
Mosaic UK was launched in October 2003 on the 2002 postcode list. Type and group definitions are unchanged for 2005. Postcodes identified as new for the 2004 update have been re-evaluated and allocated to a suitable 2005 Mosaic UK group and type. New residential postcodes for 2005 have been allocated to
Type B08 - Just Moving In.
